Experience.

  • Coordinated widening of approximately 2,400 linear feet of roadway between the Nocatee Parkway off-ramp and the Above Athletics building. The scope included milling and resurfacing approximately 60 feet before and after the proposed improvements. Key improvements encompassed paving and drainage upgrades to install a curb and gutter section on the east side and the southbound lanes. The project also featured a new directional median opening for dual signalized left turns onto US-1 from Ranger Road and the addition of a third southbound signalized through lane. This project is associated with the City of Jacksonville Development #10479.001 and FDOT #20-088. Drone services were utilized to document site progress and verify project compliance.

  • $3.7 million contract for roadway widening, construction of new turn lanes, and signalization improvements. Additional improvements consisted of excavation and embankment, drainage improvements, pavement markings, sodding, and signage. City of Jacksonville Development #70570-23. Drone operations were used for aerial mapping and monitoring traffic control measures. .

  • $7.6 million project from State Road 21 to U.S. 17, overseeing mill and resurface operations, striping, concrete, MOT, lighting, signalization, and team coordination. Contract No. T2908, FIN: 445342-1-52-01.

  • This $1.8 million project included reconstruction, signal improvements, flat work, and maintenance of traffic. FAP No. D223108. Contract No. T2949. FIN: 209697-4-52-01 (2024).

  • This $7 million project consisted of resurfacing five (5) arterial roadways, two alternates for residential roadways including 51 streets, and one alternate involving roadway base repair around utility manholes. RFSQ-23-29 (2023).

  • $177 million reconstruction of I-295/95 Interchange, which allowed for increased capacity, modernization, and enhanced safety. Improvements included new concrete pavement incorporated into all ramps, collector-distributor (CD) roads, and mainline pavements west of the US 17 interchange; new flexible pavements, which were constructed on mainline segments east of the interchange (2016-2021).

  • $2.5 million project, which included intersection improvements of 262 intersections in 18 counties throughout FDOT District Two. The project consisted of upgrading intersections with thermoplastic striping and single-post signs. FIN: 433519-2-52-01 (2017)

Support for construction of facility. Reviewed as-built conditions for follow-up construction left by Southland. Bonding company takeover by Yates/ Preferred Materials. (FPID 213259-4)

The PARC Group Projects

Performed COJ private inspections for Mariposa Parcels 25A, 24A, and 24B, Rustic Ridge Subdivision, and the EverRange Parkway Corridor. Led preconstruction and progress meetings, provided inspection reports, and utilized biweekly drone aerial photography for monitoring site progress and ensuring compliance. Coordinated with contractors and agencies to support inspection readiness and final certifications.

City of Jacksonville Downtown Improvements

Survey Support for full topography and underground utility locations between 1st Street to 3rd Street (SR A1A) and Beach Boulevard to 4th Avenue South. Located storm and sewer inverts, beach dunes, adjacent buildings and threshold, ROW, landscaping, and other surface improvements. Also provided Beaches Energy Services detailed measurements of underground electric vaults for utility avoidance of electric conduits and proposed design of storm system.

Survey Support for electrical overhead line and as-built surveys (power pole details and locations).

Survey Support for setting aerial targets supporting drone survey technology, and supporting topography tie-ins.

FPL Support Services, Florida

US 90/SR 10, FDOT District Two, Jacksonville, FL

In-House Survey Support for added lanes and reconstruction. Construction survey support services included temporary control plan layout, grading, curb and gutter sections, and storm drain structures. (FPID 208373-2)

Master Tract Zurich, St Johns County, FL,

Survey Support for as built of pond construction sites, including control structure tie-ins, access road, fence lines, pond sections, and outfall details.

Project Field Survey,Multiple Sites in Florida

  Construction, as-built, boundary, right-of-way (ROW), topography, utility, and wetlands. Survey clients included private (developers, landowners), local government (City of Jacksonville, St. Johns County, and City of Jacksonville Beach), agency (University of North Florida), and FDOT (Contractors, GAI CEI, and GAI Design). Details included site layout, including MOT lane closures, utility subsurface utility engineering (SUE) locations, earthwork cross sections, and St. Johns River Water Management District (SJRWMD) as-built certifications. In-House Survey Support for milling and resurfacing, signing and markings, signalization, drainage, and utility (water/sewer design) for SR 139 RRR, which included State Street, Union Street, and west of Mathews Bridge limited access roadway. Also provided detailed measures of sidewalk curb ramps that needed to be modified to meet Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) standards. (FPID 432452-1)
